Installing difficult tires
It is always helpful to start the fitting opposite the valve and to finish it at the valve, as the tire bead to be mounted should lie in the rim well as far as possible. Instead of pushing the tire with the thumb, it is often easier to roll the tire bead over the rim flange from the opposite side on. If one is not experienced at installing a inner tube in a tire, it can be quite easy to pinch the tube and cause a puncture. After one of the tires beads has been installed onto the rim, a slightly inflated tube should be installed inside of the tire and the tubes valve should be inserted through the rim hole. The next step is to install the tires other bead. Starting at the opposite end of the valve, work your way around the rim before finishing at the end of the rim with the valve hole. WhenFew readers
